In certain prescribed years in the Jewish calendar, Parashat P'kudei is read in combination with Parashat Vayak‑hel. This presents some challenges for the triennial system. Suffice it to say, that there are six possible triennial patterns that can affect which verses in Parashat P'kudei are read when it is read separately from Parashat Vayak‑hel.
