Use the recordings below to learn how to chant the Festival ta'am (trop) model tunes for r'VIa phrases according to the tradition established in "Chanting the Hebrew Bible" by Joshua Jacobson.

MuNACH-l’garMEH is a double-symbol ta’am with the munNACH under the first letter of the accented syllable and a vertical line following the word. It occurs only in a muNACH-r’VIa phrase. Sometimes you’ll see a vertical line after words punctuated with other te’amim. In this case, it’s called a paSEK, and it is meant to indicate a slight emphatic pause in the reading.
